In addition to the planned BizSpark sessions, we would like to invite local Bizspark companies to participate in Innovate!2010 – a global competition to identify and accelerate the Innovate!100: The World’s 100 Most Promising Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Startups. Microsoft BizSpark has partnered with early stage analyst firm Guidewire Group to bring you opportunities for expert feedback & validation, global exposure, cash and in-kind prizes (worth over $100,000), qualified introductions to potential partners and investors, and the possibility of being named one of the Innovate!100: The World’s 100 Most Promising Startups.

There is a US$75 fee to apply for PitchSlam. Nominations are now open and the deadline to apply for the PitchSlam is February 15th, so apply today at http://www.innovate100.com/program/bizspark.

Local Irish finalists will be invited to present their product or company at a Pitch Slam event on the evening of March 8th – a great opportunity to hone your pitching skills in front of a panel of expert judges. Finalists can also apply to present at Microsoft’s European Community Summit for investors and Start-ups in May 2010.
