Why?

TechLudd is a site that grew out of an event. It’s run by Hat Media and Techludd is maintained by them as a community focused project to provide networking and news to the Startup, Technology and Digital Media space. For more details see the about page.

TechLudd is run as a non profit project. What that means is that every penny of sponsorship or advertising is re-invested in either the site or the events (usually in the events to be honest) to benefit the community. We are committed that all TechLudd networking events and this site as a resource will always be free no matter where in the world they are.
